As senior vice president of on-campus development, Charles is responsible for delivering on Trinitas’ commitment to collaboration, inclusiveness and university partner success. He has spent eighteen years in student housing real estate and business development, although his experience includes multi-family management, market analysis and project feasibility, and hotel franchise sales. Prior to joining Trinitas, Charles served as vice president of public private partnerships at American Campus Communities where he pursued on-campus opportunities throughout the United States. He subsequently spent sixteen years at EDR as a senior vice president of development. During his time with EDR, Charles pursued new business, built university and vendor relationships and directed the design, finance and development of on-campus projects. In total, he has had varied involvement in over $1 billion of on-campus transactions.
Charles has a Master of Business Administration from The University of Memphis where he studied finance and real estate. He earned his Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College and is a board member of White Horse Capital, a non-profit real estate foundation serving Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity.
